| @DelicceLawless2 . it has a couple of different meanings. First its a referring to the blending of genres between "acceptable" mainstream black music and "gangsta" rap. (Ice Cube's group NWA and Michael Jackson were examples of the 2 extremes of black music of the late 80's early 90's). Also it has a deeper meaning of trying to reconcile the 'scary black guy' and the "accepted likeable " black guy (aka the uncle tom).
